Another key to losing weight is to stop eating when full. I always feel like I should eat everything on my plate and not waste food. I would overeat and then feel crappy. I now take smaller portions of food and when I am full, I will stop eating. Even if there is food left on the plate. I try to eat slower as well. I put my fork down into between bites. I try to give my body time to realize it is full. I also drink water while I am eating. I try to know ahead of time what I will be eating so I am more prepared. You need to control your food intake. Portion sizes and stop eating when you are full are essential to being successful.
