setting goals

As I achieved each goal, I set a new goal of weight loss. I would get discouraged at times when it seemed like I was not losing weight. But I looked at what I had already accomplished and continued on. I knew I was feeling better. It was challenging losing this much weight. But it is possible with the right mindset and determination. I did not want to take medication or have surgery. So, this was the only option. Everyday I get up knowing I have to make good food choices. I allow myself to have a cheat meal and I will treat myself to something extra like frozen yogurt at Sweet Frog. Or going out to lunch and getting an appetizer. I always try to check the calories in everything I eat. I know if I eat it, I have to be willing to work it back off. I preplan when I go out to eat. I check the menu to see what I can eat there so I don’t make unhealthy choices. I check the labels at the grocery store when buying something new. Food can taste good and be healthy.
